E.ON tWEx 2024 – Together WE x
Under the motto “It's on us”, managers and talents from the entire E.ON Group met at this year's E.ON International Leadership Conference in Riga. The event lasted 2.5 days, during which the entire Board of Management team, led by Dr. Leonhard Birnbaum (CEO E.ON SE), encouraged its team to decisively drive forward the energy transition in Europe and to use their business to promote sustainability, climate protection and thus the future of our planet. All signs were set on the power of the community - and not on individual interests without an overriding goal.
Exciting discussions, informative presentations and inspiring moments took place in a variety of formats at three unique venues. Various fascinating topics were covered, including the special features of the host country Latvia in the context of development and culture in the Baltic region. Geopolitical impulses, global digital advances and, above all, current trends in intelligent energy systems and corporate AI were also explored in depth. A refreshing insight into the characteristics of the different generations and their relevance in the competition for young talent rounded off the program in an impressive way.
The skillful mix of external impulses and internal, specialist topics, supplemented by the opportunity for constant interaction with each other in various specialist and interdisciplinary peer-to-peer sessions, contributed to a euphoric spirit of optimism among the participants. In the spirit of it's on you, it's on me, it's on us, visions were not only communicated, but created together.
